Psalm 1:1-3

Its been awhile...

The past few weeks have been filled with

leaving our beloved community down south,

settling into our new home in Salinas,

getting acquainted with the fun and crazy middle school kids up here,

spending time with mom and dad,

and getting together with both old and new friends.

Best of all we are enjoying some much needed time together.

We knew our life was crazy before,

but I don't think either of us realized how much we missed each other.

We are beyond blessed.

Bittersweet

Leaving my dream job, which I have been so blessed and fortunate to have.

Leaving the teenage kids and their families who have touched our lives so profoundly over the past six years.

Leaving the gorgeous Southern California weather.

Leaving our friends and neighbors, who have become our family.

Moving North to beautiful Monterey County.

Moving close to my mom and dad.

Getting to be a part of an exciting, vibrant ministry in Salinas.

Learning to trust that God knows what He's doing with our lives and looking forward to what He has in store for us in this next big adventure.
