Giving Thanks

We endured a devastating season following the loss of our first pregnancy last fall.

And just as the clouds were starting to clear we found out that we were pregnant again. Such an emotional time, filled with excitement and fear. I cannot even begin to imagine what it would have been like without Jesus.

We are now a few short months away from the arrival of our baby. So far it seems as though we have a healthy little bean growing and moving in my belly. Such a tremendous miracle.

We are beyond blessed.

And reminded that God is good. 

He always has been, even in the midst of our pain.

This Is As Crafty As I Get.

When it comes to Christmas gifts for our nieces and nephews, our budget is a measly $10 each. Ten dollars buys stomp rockets and cute underwear from the Gap, but you can only buy underwear for kids under a certain age...so the older kids get gift cards.

This year I went crazy and made the gift card holders into ornaments.

Time will tell if the tradition continues!
