Our bedroom is a burnt orange. I think it should be more of a deep teal.
Then there's the kitchen.
Sista-in-Law had a great point, go with a neutral in there so our kitchen accessories pop. A GREAT reason to get some funky gadgets for the kitchen!

Since I don't know exactly what im talking about when it comes to interior design I always turn to my good friend google-search. Here are a few links that might be helpful. The second link explains how to make the bold-all-over look really work. I wish I could go paint crazy in my house! Not sure our landlord would like that ;) You can always check out realsimple.com too. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

ReplyDeleteI agree with Rachel...and nuetral also allows for a woman to change her mind and her color scheme more often!! I say go with a bold nuetral...like bleeker beige by Benjamin Moore.

ReplyDeleteNo, but I am eager to paint our bedroom a deep teal! Mom disagrees...she surprises me by leaning towards the poppy orange. When is the painting genie going to visit? I am ready for a change...
